Travel Directions

By road

As we are situated within the grounds of Park Hall Hotel and Camelot Theme Park, we are located very conveniently to the M6 motorway, in the north west of England.

If travelling from the south, leave the M6 at junction 27; if travelling from the north, leave at junction 28. In each case, simply follow the brown direction signs to Park Hall/Camelot Theme Park.

N.B.

You can access Park Hall Hotel by coming off the motorway at Charnock Richard Services. This means that you will not have to travel as far and it will save you about 15-20 minutes.

If you are travelling south come off the slip road to the Charnock Services which is in between junctions 28 and 27 and turn your immediate left. Follow the perimeter of the road around until you see a small entrance to the left which is sign posted "No entry except Lodge". Please note that if you go past this entrance, you will end up back on the motorway, so please take your time to ensure you do not miss the turning. You should see the Police Hut to the left of this entrance. Go over the speed humps and through the gap that is usually occupied by the barrier. At the top of the hill turn right and follow the road around the bend as it bears to the right. You will then see the sign for Park Hall Hotel/Camelot Theme Park further up the road on your right.

If you are travelling north come off the slip road to Charnock Services which is in between junction 27 and 28 and bear to the left. You will see a sign saying No entry except Lodge, but still go over the speed humps and through the gap that is usually occupied by the barrier. At the top of the hill turn right and follow the road around the bend as it bears to the right. You will then see the sign for Park Hall/Camelot Theme Park further up the road on your right.

By rail

If you are travelling by rail, the nearest mainline stations are either Wigan or Preston and taxis are readily available from both these stations.
